Another IMEI Restore and Backup Method

Need to have root access

On PC:
1. Download this [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]
2. Extract and run it.
3. Press Y.
4. Type first IMEI number and press enter
5. Type second IMEI number and press enter
6. Then see in the folder where it extracted, there is a new file (IMEI.bak)
7. Save the file in root folder of the SD card. Make sure its only the one IMEI.bak file there

On phone:
1. Innstall Mobile uncle tools
2. Open the app and say yes to root access
3. Choose IMEI Backup Restore (MTK)
4. Choose from the options Restore IMEI from SDCARD (MTK) and done!

Or if you only want to backup, do the same on phone, but choose Backup IMEI to SDCARD (MTK) in #4

Hi tiefighter_85 !

I have tried many times to restore the back up (with Mobile Uncle Tools) of IMEI on 2 different devices ... but it seems doesn't works ... the fields of IMEI in Radio Information (on Phone 1 & Phone 2) were empty :-(
However, nice and interesting thread :-)

My Lenovo S660(MTK6582) having Network problem, It was having virus issue hence i flash ROM without take backup. Now IMEI restored by using mobile uncle tool but network is getting lost again and again
