Hello guys!
I am new to the forum.
I own the Jiayu G2F and while i get it root using Framaroot, I cannot update SuperSU, which essentially means I cannot use apps which require root access.
I need to find a custom recovery to do this, and, so far, I have only found CWM but only for TD-SCDMA. I live in Greece, EU, so I need a CWM version for WCDMA. If I try with the TD-SCDMA CWM version, will it work for my WCDMA device or will it cause any problems?
Does anyone know if the afformentioned recovery exists at all? I have been searching the web but still no results.
Please, any help is more than welcome.

Is SuperSU installed now? If you successfully used Framaroot, then SuperSU should have been installed.

Yes, as I said on the first post, SuperSu is installed, but, when I run it, a message pops up and says that SuperSu must be updated. And it gives you two choices: either with the stock (3E) recovery or with CWM/TWRP.
The same thing exactly happened on a Xiaomi Hongmi I own, and it worked fine with TWRP. That's why I want to install CWM or TWRP recovery on G2F.

What you are trying to do is update su binaries. Not the SuperSU control app.
See the tutorial forum for how to create CWM. TD-SCDMA or WCDMA is irrelevant.

Oh, and another thing. I downloaded the latest supersu zip file sto that I could flash it through stock recovery but when i choose to update from the zip file i have copied to the sd card it fails...
It says "error invalid ota package missing scatter installation aborted"
I am really disappointed...

firstly if your device is truly rooted
secondly if your recovery offers install from zip
---then you can update your su package this way
download this
[Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]
reboot into recovery and install zip......not update......you chose the wrong option.
update is for full ROM updates.
2) If you are saying your recovery does not offer install from zip then pls take up cookiedough's suggestion
and use the tutorials to get CWM onto your device.
3) If none of those tutorials work for you......and I repeat if they DON'T work, come on over to Linux corner and we will show you how to get one on by modding.

I am really disappointed... You must have CWM to install su from recovery. See the tutorials section on how to build CWM.
I dont know whether the CWM you linked to will work or not.
Supersu give you two different options to update the binaries... Did you try the non-recovery method. I believe it is something like 'standard or normal method'.

Of course I have tried the normal method. I just doesn't work.
So then of course the next step is flash the CWM you linked to, or build CWM.

Just wait one on following advice from cookiedough
Its not clear to me, which link cookiedough is referring to?
You can't use your link from post 5. Its in Chinese. Don't do it.
If you do not have an option to install from zip, then you have a stock recovery and as cookiedough as suggested you need to either build a CWM or take my advice, but not the post 5 link.
Is that clearer?
cookiedough, sorry if I come across as anal but you may not have seen what image is showing and the chat at that needrom link. I have still given you rep for your previous replies so I hope you can forgive me if I seem rude.
cheers
