Due to extreme popularity, the DG550 is now sold out from Gearbest and out of stock from the manufacturer. Doogee has promised new stock will arrive on Thursday, JUN 26. And will be available to ship out from Gearbest on the 28th.

Anybody who has used our coupon prior to this announcement, and ordered black will have their phones shipped tomorrow. White will not ship until 28th.

Chinaphonearena and Gearbest sincerely apologize for the issue. We expected the phone to be popular, but not to this degree.

Due to this issue, the coupon code will remain active longer than the announced 72 hours and anyone willing to wait may still get this discount/deal.

Those of you who have been following the DG550 drama, may have seen information on other forums regarding this situation.

I have been accused as a liar and without honor. Those who know me well, know better than to believe this. The first batch sold out. The proof in the pudding will be the Gizbeat review early next week and the black DG550s shipping today.

Now apparently there is an issue at the factory with production, but they should be ready on the 26th and ready to ship out from Gearbest on the 28th.

We know some users have already requested a refund, those who paid with PayPal should have already received their refund. Those who paid by credit card may take slightly longer to process. Gearbest has remained in constant contact with me and refunds to those who requested it was no problem. I put my full trust in Gearbest to be one of the best shops out there.

The sale is still on for those who can wait. Doogee has promised the phones ready on the 26th and to be shipped out on the 28th by Gearbest.

Chinaphonearena, as long as it's in my hands as admin will always be a place for courteous and thoughtful people to share knowledge and help each other out. People speaking with rude ignorance and hate are not welcome here.

We have recently shut down one sponsor's forum due to an issue with a single customer. Yes a single issue. However in this case, it was serious enough that it warranted action. Ask yourself whether another site would do the same. We won't hesitate to go to bat for our users.

I am not really sure what is going on and who is misleading who, but the above statement appears to be less than accurate, I ordered black the day before the announcement of no stock.

Today I received an email from Gearbest that I will have to wait until the next batch of phones on the 26th /28th

The phone being Popular or not, this does look bad for Gearbest and customers will not want to order from them in the future.

Maybe chinaphonearena.com should review their relationship with Gearbest Angry

If you can't help being angry about a phone being out of stock (I'm going by your angry faces, not your words, which are quite calm considering the situation. I really do appreciate staying professional and courteous), be angry at Doogee who promised large quantities of the phone available. Due to issues of production at the factory, only the first batch came out and now more won't be available until next week. Welcome to China phones.

Gearbest has offered immediate refund and has followed through. I recommend you get a refund if you're going to be angry about the situation. In fact I urge any customer who can't be calm and understanding to get their refund.

A measure of a company is not the problems that arise, because they will occasionally arise. But how they handle them when they do. In this case, an "immediate" refund is available. Or you can wait until next week to see if the Doogee follows through with supply.

If I felt Gearbest was deliberately misleading me or our customers, I would rethink it. However, it's not the case. What could they possibly gain by offering a phone for sale that they couldn't get? The answer is nothing. They made this deal in good faith, and I trust them fully. Again, if you can't stay calm, just get your money back.

Regarding your order, you haven't even provided basic information about your order, so how can we check for you? I do understand your frustration here and would love to check on it, but you haven't provided an order #.

Hi Khonshu, I think you are missing the point, you stated in your post that for anybody who ordered a black phone prior to the stock problem announcement that despatch would happen today.

Gearbest.com email to me today contradicts that statement.

I have to believe you stated this in good faith from information you received from the Gearbest, if this is the case then the supplier has misled you and I would suggest that they are not a reliable supplier.

I do not think it is safe to put order details on an open forum, however I ordered a black Doogee DG550 , and paid on the 17/06/14 so from your post there should not be a delay in despatch, if you want further order info I can PM it to you
