Thanks for the tips. But unfortunately i think something else is broken.. i sent to several tech guy, yer everyone fail. At the end, the phone already brick( unable to bootup). My last resort try back to sent factory and check for damage ic.

Hello Sir,

I just bought a china phone which I'm not sure what is the model. It's already set to English language so it helped a lot. the thing is, it doesn't have google play store in it and i have tried installing using .apk but still failed. checking back on my phone details i saw the MTK6592 and after i googled i come across this forums.

as a phone it's working fine cos i can do calls, received calls and even messages. still with out google play store i can't do much especially downloading/playing games that required google play account.

hope i can get some advice/help in here. thanks in advance.

I think he means to insert battery after attaching phone. In my experience, you should insert battery before, or Dont insert battery at all and just hit volume up after connecting.

Until you get a better reply I would suggest you root your device first

Since you have Mediatek try this first Framaroot
Secondly download gapps as per
http://www.chinaphonearena.com/forum/Thread-Tutorial-How-to-flash-gapps-install-update-from-SD
Thirdly, go into system settings -> security (under Device management) Tick the box for Unknown sources
----to allow installs of apks from the SD card
Then go into SD card and click on apk.

I have changed my mind on recommending the CPA method of gapps
instead, use system settings to find out what version of Android you have
next, google terms= ultra slim gapps eg 4.2.2

Once again hi all,
I bought last week Elephone P9, and this install usb driver guide not work with this phone. I tried three different drivers, with this results:
device manager show each case something different f.e. YunOS with ACB interface, or Samsung Phone, and last driver show in de. manager hidden devs : Ports and com show MediaTek Preloader USB VCOM, and Samsung Android Phone with Android Composite ADB Interface. Phone not react with SP Flash Tool (last version). HELP it welcome. THX

OK.. I've tried everything to create a scatter file. It just isn't popping up.. What am I missing?

hi, CaptainPorkie23. Both scatter file and CWM recovery can be created with MTK Droid Tools.
I apologize, it's just that I noticed you posted about this in the SP Flash Tool thread. I can't tell if your post is just misplaced, or if you're looking into the wrong program?

Is it MTK Droid Tools that is giving you problems?

i followed everything in xda,.. but still no luck,..


flash tool give me an error

"da didnt send data to flash tool"

it always persist everytime...
