When you say:
[*]For MTK6589 only
do you mean this doesnt work on MTK6589T?
In that case is there another solution for my Inew I6000?
Thanks

Actually I don't recommend anyone use this at all. This is from a long time ago when a specific problem existed with internet stopping when switching between H and H+

This is from a long time ago when a specific problem existed with internet stopping when switching between H and H+ I am using official inew rom 0808 and I am having many outages in an area where signal is supposed to be strong. I believe there must be an issue related to driver on this rom or phone model.
It would be nice to fix this issue because the rest of funtions are working ok now.
Perhaps in Europe (Spain) the phone is not well configured for our mobile band frequency. I would appreciate any help on this issue

My 3G i also jumping between H+ H and 3G, but my internet speed is not affected.
I'm still streaming flawless from youtube, meanwhile it's jumping between connections. But I agree it is annoying to look at, and I wonder why it has to do this...?

Are there any newer version of the modem? Newer than V8?

Installed v8 to inew i3000. After update 3g has worked flawless.. before jumping between h and h+ and sometimes connection lost. But now it is working. Good patch. Thank you!
Edit: Today when jumping between h and h+, internet connection lost again.. So update to v8 didn't fix problem.

Hmmm, that's odd. I just tried this today, with both methods and no luck and the V8 version. I tried the sd update from recovery, it went as it should, but no 3g at all. I tried to "select carrier manually", but it was not in the list after search - only a couple of 2G carriers to choose from...?
I had to do a total recovery afterwards, for getting my 3g signal back again, it was not enough just to copy/paste modem.img...
The same happened with the simple copy/paste method, no carrier to select again. But here I could just copy/paste my modem.img backup, and it worked again...
So this obviously doesn't work for me...

As long as your internet isn't interrupted when it changes, it's fine.
