I was searching online for an android 4.4 rom for the Jiake Jk11 and I came across this other phone by Jiake. Its the JIAKE G900W. Now, if I can find a stock firmware of that phone, I can take the Android.img from that and place it in the regular Jiake Jk11 stock firmware, and I flash it with SP Flash tools, I will be able to upgrade my phone from android 4.2.2 to 4.4. I am pretty sure this can be done for any of the mtk6582 devices, for Jiake phones are pretty close to stock. The only problem is, the factory firmware seems to be non-existent.

Are there any other mtk6582 firmware to download for android 4.4?

what? it is so easy to change firmware by installing another firmware from another phone ?

Yeah its because they are very similar phones and when you only flash the /system folder, you don't run into problems because the hardware is almost the same.

this will not work it'll brick your phone
