The good news is that there is an alternative, the iNew supports wireless display, it is working with my Tronsmart A928 Android TV Box with no special software needed. In addition, you might consider using a Tronsmart EZCAST media stick, about $29.99 (free shipping), cheaper than a Samsung MHL dock/cable. Thanks.

i have a wifi display dongle (dont know if i can give link) and i tested it with inew v3 and other mtk phones. For internet browsing is ok.For games not ok because it has a lag in picture transfer. For videos over dlna mode is perfect. For videos via wifi display/miracast is bad only in inew because of the known issue that have inew with videos.http://www.chinaphonearena.com/forum/Thread-Youtube-Lag because it has sync problems. in my other phone with mtk6589T cpu is ok
