[Question] Help with bricked V3 after ROM flash

for those who had just received the InewV3,(recently, within the last two weeks)
please make sure u back up yr rom before u want to flash any rom from the web.

if u do backup the rom, please upload the preloader.bin, so the rest can unbrick their phone.


for those who bricked the phone, u may try to download someother rom, then just flash the preloader.bin to yr phone.(uncheck all the files in the sp flash tool after u select the scatter file, except preloader.bin)

Vito and Alex, Can you enter recovery? Make sure you factory reset after flashing the ROM

It's a possibility there is a new revision of inew V3 that have some slightly different hardware. possibly different LCD with different driver or some other part. I'm just saying it's possible. When did you 3 people receive your inew v3?

Make sure you try with both *download* and the *firmware upgrade* options.

No enter recovery.

Here's the preloader.bin file from my new iNew V3 that i got about a week ago. It also came with a 1.0.1 version. However i guess it differs from the earlier 1.0.1 releases that were delivered in January. Notice the different info in the build-number field where it says "inew_v3e_1.0.1" and NOT "cxq_..."
To make sure it matches your device i also attach two screenshots (one is from Mobile uncle tools showing Device Info).
Note: the attached zip file contains preloader.bin

I've solved the problem by flashing a “Chinese” ROM version (cxq_v3_c_v1.0.4). I received last week the phone, it’s a V3-C.

I don't think so cause a lot of people have put the "c" rom on their "e" phones, with no problem.
Also at the inewmobile in a similar question they answered that the iNew V3, iNew V3-E, iNew V3-C are all the same, no differences.

The sure thing is that the phones that sent after 20 of Feb are having this 1.0.1 rom.

Hello Guys

Unfortunately this just has happened to me too, got the phone 3 days ago so i flashed the new rom following exactly the guide step by step and everything went ok, then when i try to power on the phone is dead...
I can't even get on recovery mode or anything, the phone is dead, 0, nada...

Can anyone help me please i'm so frustrated with this..

When you connect your phone to your computer, is it recognized? Did you guys install the right adb drivers?

Yes everything was ok for me but now the phone is dead...
anyone knows if this can get fixed ? is there any hope ?
