[Question] MT6575 S4 clone partitioning

Hi,

Can any expert help me to re-partition my MT6575 S4 clone set. Its internal storage is only 503.95 MB & Internal SD 2.06 GB.

Today through Z-Device test i have tested my (internal + Phone) storage n below is the result-

Total Size- 3.6 GB
Partition Size-1 1 KB
Partition Size-2 512 MB (I think its system)
Partition Size-3 512 MB (I think its internal storage)
Partition Size-4 2.07 GB (I think its so-called internal SD)
Partition Size-5 5 MB (Have no idea what it is)

I have tried lots of method including Vietnamese partition software, some XDA mod but nothing working. I have understand that EBR & MBR file need to be changed to get the desire partition. Though some say MT6575 partition only depend on MBR. My MBR & EBR files are attached here.

Yes, your EBR does not match up with the more recent EBR edit tutorials and tools.

I know this doesn't help you much, but have you considered upgrading? MT6575 now is 3 years old.

I've bought this set 1 n half yr b4 & it was a fraud case. The guy told that its genuine S4 & i believed him like a stupid. Spent 350 US $ & at present not in a position to buy a new set.

I'm sure many people got fooled. Not only you, so don't feel stupid. Well when you have the money, now have a few good phones for <$100.

Unfortunate that the ebr is not same style as in tutorial. You can try to play with it. Maybe you'll get lucky. But best thing is just to save and get something like THL 4000.
