This is my first Chinese clone type phone that i have ever used.
(I own a Note1/2/3, Nexus 4/5, Samsung Galaxy S3/4/5)
It caught my eye because i wanted to test out the octa-core features compared to the s4 & s5.
Its a very fast phone after messing with alot of settings.
Especially after root i changed the governor from hotplug to performance.
It gave me a lower antutu score, but it really stabilized the speed 100%.
Now my only issue is that the chipset MT6592 is supposed to be a 1.7ghz out the box speed, but this phone only offer 1.3ghz so it is underclocked.
I have tried contacting POSH, but they say there is no source so i am out of luck on being able to overclock the phone to normal speed.
My question is can we share the same chipset based kernel off another phone or does it have to be this specific phones kernel? I have never used a clone phone so im not up to speed on its compatibilities.
The phone is nice and only cost 179$.
