[Question] iNew V3-E = Engineer model?! not the official release?!?!?!

a china phone online shop claims that these iNew v3-E that we have in our hands is not the official model!!! they claim the real iNew v3 will be released in the late february!!!
what do you think guys??!
is that mean we don't have the real iNew v3 !? are our phones pre production samples?!

Mine says nothing about 'E' on the box, or on the phone sticker behind the battery. Doesn't mean much, but thought I'd mention.

The more likely possibility is the shop is misinformed or not telling the truth. The popularity of iNew V3 was so high that many shops couldn't get the phone at all.

Maybe the shop is lying / doesn't know what they're talking about. Maybe iNew just used us to test their prototype....Either way, I won't be surprised.

One chinese from a webshop customer support says it's a "concept" phone, that it's an "engineer sample", and that it's on presale for next month, and we all should say "yes, you're right"? I mean wth? We all know how communication goes with every webshop's customer support, they tell you what you want to hear, and other times they tell you unverified info, but most of the times they are answering what they think and not what really is. I would say it's their marketing trick, they want you to believe other webshops are not selling the real thing, and that they are better and that you should buy from them instead. They are really doing themselves a great damage with such a brilliant customer support.

ours are like this too, everything on the appearance says iNew V3,
what does antutu say about your devices model? antutu says my devices name is V3-E , which is the real name that the company put on the digital id of the phone...

there might be a 1% probability of them being true!
on every site when ever they talk about the phone they call it V3, but when we receive it , on antutu or tapatalk it's name is V3-E , generally in the phones digital id , the company named it V3-E.
on the other hand it doesn't seem logical that the iNew would ever make and sell thousands of pre production model smartphone and give 4 software updates for it in less than a month! .

after received, straight away , i changed the rom.
then on the need rom, some people cannot installed the rom that i installed. and mine work perfectly with the rom.

few days after, i try ro disassemble one of the two. and i broke the LED/LCD display, so i ordered one display only (not the display assy) from the official web site, when the item came, i found the the connection is different, then i asked the vendor why is it different? U khow what is the answer i got.
"u had bought a fake No,1 N3."

if i did not break the lcd, and if i did not order the lcd from china, i will never know it is a fake phone.

So , anything can happen when u buy phone from china.

So you're trying to say that thousands of people are buying fake V3's (or more precisely V3-E's) for the past two months and no one even thought that might be the case?! I hardly believe that would happen, even on a china market.

no, i will say may be 5% - 10% of the V3 are fake

if u look at the aliexpress, u will see some of the vendor put "original" word to advertise for a not known brand also.
At the first place, i never know what actually it means. I always think that who the hell in this world want to fake a china not known brand

the only reliable china phone company that has official online shop is zopo.
2 months ago I pre ordered a zopo zp998 , and it was arrived with my inew v3.
everything on zopo zp998 is satisfying , all of the free stuff that they gave with the phone , 32 gb class 10 sd card, flip cover , flash memory , screen gaurd and.... have no problem!
zopo zp998 really feels like a high end phone , but since I've turned on my inew v3 , I'm continuously getting surprised by a lot of stuff... .

you are right, but why would iNew name the phone V3-E on its digital id while they themselves call it V3??
although this rumor is more likely to be fake , but the v3 and v3-E naming is adding marks to this rumor...
personally i think 75% this is a fake rumor like that one about the OTG function on the first 1000 batch and on the other batches... at least I hope that this rumor will turn to be fake.

That's why I don't buy from AliExpress. First and foremost, PayPal is not supported, and I find it far more secure than any other payment system they provide. Second, just like you said, there are all kinds of wordplays, so you're really not sure what you're buying. On the other hand, eBay has far more control over the whole process and gives more protection to the buyers, so I prefer them very much.

And regarding china webshops, you don't just order something from any webshop. There's are some very respectable webshops, and some less respectable, or not respectable at all (scammers). So when thousands of phones are bought from such respectable webshops, I really find it hard to believe that all of us are buying fakes. These webshops have built their respect over many years, and I think that they wouldn't do such cheap tricks on us all, because they would fall in customers eyes very quicky, and that would reflect negatively on their profit too.

Last but not least, we are discussing all this just because someone (one person only) told us a very possible lie. Unless iNew himself don't officialy announce V3 model this month, I believe that the only fake in this story is EtoTalk's words.

Something strange is that in the official roms the phone is not mentioned as inew v3 or inew v3-E but as CXQ V3-E. Does anyone knows if exists cxq company?
