Before I bought my inew v3 I did some research to find who they are and the results were this:
They are a Russian - Chinese Brand and their phones are being produced under THL production line...
And probably the Russian side is doing the software development :-?

ummm
seems like the rom won't be available by tomorrow... uploading the file is taking longer. (i think it's due to the internet speed of china)
Quote:We are facing some non technical issues so delayed uploading this update and plan to make it public.
But its not permanent delay, just wanted to inform you that it will not available on given time.
Hope you all will understand this delay and not get disappointed.
Regards,

Sounds a bit weird. Quotation: "1000 employes on 12000qm make an annual revenue of 1 to 2.5 million $." That's - even for China - not enough. As i know iNew is talking about 40.000 V3 a month. And this does not sound like a overstatement. That's alone - assumed 100US$/pcs. - 4,000,000 US$ a month. V3 alone.

40.000 V3 a month?! really~?
besides all the 100$ is the interest (income) , each inew v3 probably cost them 70 - 85$
so it would be like this:
40000* ~25$ = 1,000,000$
and out of this 1 million they have to pay workers, taxes , and other stuff..
although companies never reveal the true annual revenue or any other income... I guess its way more than 1 - 2.5 million $..

I cannot be more disappointed with iNew, so... No, I understand and I'm not getting disappointed. Nothing unexpected happened
Can you ask them what about WCDMA 900/2100 version?
Do they even know that they have on sale that model too?

sure ;) I'll ask them this question,
but I think they have considered both versions, because once they said :
Quote:....and right now it is not compatible with any old v3. Not even 850/2100 or 900/2100

I really hope there will be a kitkat because it looks like the new lenovo has veeeeeeeerrrrry similar specs as well as dimensions as our inew v3. So maybe same pcb oem\odm [whatecer is the case - i dont know the difference]. Hope but not optimistic though. also i find on this 1.0.8 that the phone is really stable. Has a day's battery and yeah im quite Okay with it as is.
and maybe tomorrow who knows... ;9]
