UMI X3 true specs?
#1
Hi

So I read in some places that umi x3 only has a single sim card and no microsd card slot.

Other say they its dual sim with support for up to 64gb microsd card... so which one is correct in reality?

I'm mostly interested in the microsd slot, me buying one umi x3 depends on it.

Here's 2 completely different spec sheets regarding those features from well known sellers...

but there could be more than one version

Ye, very weird, from videos it looks like it can take 2 sim cards, but no microsd card. Antelife youtube also says no sdcard so I think that one is pretty much confirmed... I won't be getting this nor the pomp c6s as it looks like none have sdcard slot.

Have my eyes set on the cubot x6 now.

the cubot x6 is claimed to be the cheapest octa-core phone on the market.
but because of this they cut a lot of corners, its also made very cheap

ye, I sold my inew v3 and was looking for something faster in the same price range, but was willing to pay some more for umi or pomp as they have bigger screen, all the good specs that i want, seemed perfect, but the lack of sdcard slot is a complete no for me. Same reason I didn't get a xiaomi mi3 :/ I don't understand why they wouldn't put a sdcard in these phones, they would be killers.

The cubot from what I understand the screen is not so good and the camera is on the crappy side, but the price is very appealing, tho I'm sure I will be disappointed in some aspects compared with the inew v3. lol very hard to be pleased by a chinese phone.

Any suggestions? :p

not really, if there were a better device where everything is good i would have bought that instead of the inew v3...
for me the inew has to fill the gap until end of year when the new CPU generation comes out (big.LITTLE 64bit) with LTE and all the goodness....

im guessing that processor will be more costly, like the snapdragon is right now. It just sounds too great to be in the 200$ ballpark.

sure, but i still dream of a chinese device with specs like a Samsung S5 (except fingerprint reader - no use for that and no idea who wants such a thing) and Dual Sim (if possible DSFA) with pentaband 3G and LTE.
if any manufacturer manages to build something like this and its really working good i'd spend 500 USD, no care
