I also have it.
I don't need to take so many night pictures so it doesn't bother me but it seems like many people have this issue.

Finally I've tested it and I was wrong, I also have this issue. But I'm pretty convicted that in version 1.0.3 it was great! Can anyone with that version report please?
I have here older night photos taken with 1.0.3 and they are fine!

If it were me, I'd be waiting a few months into that warranty, then open it up and see if there's some obstruction. Could be LED not pressed evenly up. Or try replace that LED. Any basic shop can be doing it. LED is super cheap.

Ye , it is probly only the led, in my previous phone it was easy to see that the yellow die under the clear flashlight lens is not centered, it's slightly shifted to the left, and in this one too.
I use the flashlight a lot, that's how I 1st noticed it, but my 1st phone I think i remember looking at the led and seeing the yellow die centered and I used the flashlight a bunch of times and the light felt stronger than now and more uniformly shaped.
I even remember commenting that the light on the phone was really strong, but now it feels just so so... I have to dig some and see if I have some photos from that phone.
Anyway, either inew got a bad batch of leds at some point, or is placing them wrong when building the phones...
But I would also like to hear from ppl with 1.0.3 or below, I guess it's possible that inew changed the voltage being supplied to the led...?
