iNew V3 Boot Loop

Hello,

Yesterday my battery was getting low so I put in the charger, however I was a bit too late, just at the moment i put the charger in the phone was shutting down. No problem i guess.

I let it charge for 45 mins and then turned the phone on. Walked away to drink some weter, but when I came back, there was a black screen on my phone with blue chinese characters
I tryed to make a screenshot of it, but then a cursor started moving, i guess it was a menu.
In my screen i saw MMC DATA. I did not know what it was and tryed powering of the phone, which did not work. So i pulled the battery out.
When i turned on my phone after that it was stuck in a boot loop. It will keep showing the inew logo and the blue circle animation.

I discovered I can get the same englisch menu bij holding power + volume down on startup, but have no idea what to do with these chinese menu's.

I want to keep all my data, but is that even possible at this point?

Try to do a firmware upgrade. I don't know what is your firmware version, but just try to flash any (or your currently version) update.zip without wiping anything and you should be fine to get it back

If it doesn't work, use sp flash tool with upgrade firmware option, trough PC with your USB cable and proper drivers installed. ;)

I still use the 1.0.3 version it came with. My gps was working fine so I never upgraded it since every firmware version has some flaws. I never upgraded firmware with pc before, so I really don't know how to do it. I know there are a lot of guides, but I don't know which to use. And the recovery menu is in chinese which does not help either.

But installing new firmware will keep all phone data intact?

I have read the clearing the cache might resolve the issue without removing my data. However I have no idea what to select because the whole menu is chinese.

I also have 1.0.3 version. Download it here in the firmware section and install it with recovery. Power the phone on while holding vol+ button to get in recovery

Can you translate the recovery menu options for me? See attachments.

What is the benefit of installing 1.0.3 over 1.1.4?
Will 1.0.3. let me keepy my data since it was the original firmware?

I also wiped my cache now, but it did not help.

I downloaded Stock 1.0.3 rom and extracted the zip to my sd card.
In the recovery menu i did update from sd card with update.zip

However I still have the boot-loop.

So why do you bother .. try to do this procedure, and rom choose who you want and need here read a lot of instructions, problems, etc. ..

So install cwm with PC then format /system and flash it again
