Is it compulsory that I'm on Linux OS before I can make a cwm, cos I also use the phone and I've been searching all around for the recovery.

Is SuperSU installed now? If you successfully used Framaroot, then SuperSU should have been installed.

Yes, as I said on the first post, SuperSu is installed, but, when I run it, a message pops up and says that SuperSu must be updated. And it gives you two choices: either with the stock (3E) recovery or with CWM/TWRP.
The same thing exactly happened on a Xiaomi Hongmi I own, and it worked fine with TWRP. That's why I want to install CWM or TWRP recovery on G2F.

you can download vroot to gain root access for apps that need it. that's what I'm using presently but I still need cwm recovery continue other reason

The OP needs to root his device before he can install a CWM. He has been asked a number of times to follow the CPA tutorials.

You may have missed my post where I said

If none of those tutorials work for you......and I repeat if they DON'T work,

so to answer your question No you do not need to be on Linux to build a CWM.
But if all tutorials fail for OP, and then maybe you, come on over to Linux Corner and we shall see whats cooking?

Maybe you might like to reply to one of the tutorials and say what errors you are getting after getting root device?

There is a new CWM for WCDMA on Needrom. But now I have problems flashing it. I tried through 3E, no good. Now I am trying to flash it through SP Flash Tool, but when I remove the battery of the phone to start flashing, Windows is not recognising it. It shows up as "Unknown Device", even if I have installed MTK USB drivers...

Before you try to flash conssider making a backup of your existing recovery, no matter how bad it is?

You get your VALUE1 by inputting your dumchar hex value for the recovery line into the online converter

I would rename that recovery as recovery-stock.img......to focus your mind on its features.
