[Question] MIJUE M880

Can any one help. I was sent a Mijue m880 even though it is not the phone I ordered. It suddenly stopped working after about an hour of operation when it arrived. I think it could be a corrupt ROM and I believe the sender may have tried to root it to improve performance to make it look like the spec of phone i ordered. Would any one know how I can get this fixed?

Also I bought the phone using PayPal. I thought you got buyer protection? I have sent PayPal details of what I ordered and screen shots of what I received. Even the shape and size are different but I have not had any refund. I offered to send the phone back as it is not what I ordered.

Also has any one heard of the 'gentleman' shop on AliExpress? Is this a scam shop? The phone was ordered through them but they asked we did the transaction directly on PayPal to reduce the phone cost buy cutting out Ali Express fees. This must violate Aliexpress terms and conditions. How can I report this?

I paid $210 for the phone. the company offered me $20 refund if I did not pursue my case. They suggested that after 24 hours of receiving the mail tracking number the phone becomes second hand and has no second hand value. Even if they are based in China this can not be right or is it?

If you can advice of any way i can recover at least part cost of the phone or get it to work I would appreciate it very much. Thanks

Geez. This looks like a total nightmare of a purchase case with red flags everywhere. I'm really sorry to hear about your experience, but I would absolutely NOT trust ANYTHING this seller is telling you. It sounds like a scam from the beginning and every step along the way.
