can you eliminate bad directory pathway by seeing what happens with an independent test pls

cd /sys/bus/platform/drivers
(your pathway left of # must change to that pathway)
ls -al als_ps

that last command should generate a sym link file and all the files under that directory
including

rw- r-- r-- root root 4096 psthd
