xposed doesn't work with all phones/roms, it frequently leads to boot loops, enough reason for me not to try this on $180+ phones even if having a good backup.
I have it installed on one of my phones, and without problems, but even so, I generally don't trust apps that may provoke boot-loops.

Xposed provides a simple way to rollback in case you get a bootloop.
So, this is NOT really an issue. It either works or not.
You do no harm to your phone trying it.

First of all: I'm NOT your mate, please try to be educated in your response. Talking like this to a woman is quite offensive.
Second: try this "xposed framework bootloop" in google and read about whether bootloops do not exist with xposed.
Third: I talked only about xposed provoking bootloops not xprivacy.

mirandam, may i humbly remind your Highness without prior appointment...
Bootloop can only occur after initial Xposed framework install, in case your phone does not support it.
And, Xposed framework author has generously provided a fool-proof tool to remedy this issue, so you do not have to reflash your phone in case of a bootloop.
So, if you get bootloop, you just uninstall Xposed framework with a tool provided, and look for something different. No tragedy of life.

Yep sorry i didnt notice that u r woman.
Well as fare i knw xposed only make problem with art, on dalvik working without problem. Xposed dev even sayed that , it will give bootloop . but he sayed he is working hard to bring it to art, but art is still not mature and google is changeing code all time. As long u not change runtime to art from dalvik ur safe.
Third: I talked only about xposed provoking bootloops not xprivacy.

There are many problems with xposed unfortunately. Does not work on MIUI for example. true, you wont brick your phone because you can easily revert.
Xposed is currently not compatible with ART also.
my phones current and past:
Brand phones:- Samsung Galaxy Apollo/Leo/3 - retired, 2x Samsung Galaxy S - gone, Samsung Galaxy Note - stolen , Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos - retired
- Samsung Galaxy S3
- Samsung Galaxy S4 black edition (work issue)
China phones:- Pinphone 3 (never received), Smarty A8 (MTK6515 HTC Chacha clone), iNew V3 - sold
- Xiaomi Redmi 1s - Wife's daily driver
- Xiaomi MI3 64GB with MagicSim on dual bootMIUI v5 (4.8.22) /CM11
Others: - ZTE Open (FirefoxOS) - now running ICS! -retired from duty.

Exactly my point of view, thank you.

As I said, I have experience with installing it, so no need to explain about the uninstall feature.
When you install a windows program on your home pc and it provokes a blue-screen or even a reboot, would you say it is reliable? I think not, which is the same case here, granted there's a recover option, but it doesn't take away the fact that it alters the boot sequence of your phone, which is as I said the point here and why I don't trust it. With so many phones and different boot sequences who can guarantee the recover option always works 100%? If that where true then there would be no problem in creating a full-proof boot sequence for this app.
As for the respect part; I don't ask to be treated as royalty, which is quite absurd the same way as treating me as your buddy. The world would be far better off treating everyone with normal sane respect, nothing more.

There are a lot of other reasons for BSODs after you install software, say, incompatibility with other software installed on your PC. You can't predict everything.
and...

Too many possibilities cause too many risks.
But, this is what we (or some of us) have been asking for. Freedom to install anything we want and tweak anything we need. That's why we take risk of rooting our phones. Xposed framework, btw, is nowhere near as dangerous, as using "patched" ROMS, because you can uninstall XPosed, but you can not be sure what a patched ROM can contain.

Exactly why I always insist on making a full, valid backup before doing anything like flashing. Many people start changing things without doing the backup part, which provoke many questions like "do you have a stock rom for my ... phone?". These questions can easily be avoided just by taking the time to do what logically makes sense. And I can tell you that I have these backups of all my phones, regardless of weather they cost $40 or $260, and yes they saved many hours of agony in some cases. As I said in another post (here on cpa, although I don't remember where) I don't tend to use custom roms, except maybe for some recovery, but usually I stick to the stock rom for the exact same reason I said earlier which is what you say with "but you can not be sure what a patched ROM can contain."
