MT6589: NAND Flash was not Detected

Hello,

I have a Techno A+ (F7) : MT6589_S00 which I have succeeded in bricking. That's right, there's absolutely no power going into or coming out of the phone. It won't turn on or charge and I think this happened after I formatted using SP FlashTool v3.1312.0.139 yesterday. I selected the 'Format whole flash' option.

I have tried to reload the OS/flash using files found [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register] with no luck. After selecting and downloading all those files in SP FlashTool, the phone remains bricked, even when I try to start it holding down the volume buttons.

I have access to another phone like this if that'll help.
Any help is appreciated.

--Update--

I have been able to get the Techno A+ (F7) working by using Smart Phone Flash Tool v3.1312.0.139 and the files [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]. I loaded up the MT6589 scatter file and selected all the files, then proceeded to 'download'.

Following that, the phone went into a constant reboot loop not going past the Techno logo. I rebooted into recovery mode (power + volume keys) and did a Factory Wipe/Reset and the phone is back on and functioning normally, so far.

However, I decided to do another memory test using SP Flash Tool and the report generated still shows "ERROR: NAND Flash was not detected!".

My question is, considering that the phone is back online and functioning as expected, should I be worried about the nand/flash error and try to fix it, or should I accept all odds and return the device to my friend for usage?
