I have a problem with my Neo N003 and a friends UMI X2, both says that they are roaming all the time when connected to 3G, connected to 2G everything is ok. I am using a sim card that I moved from my Samsung Galaxy SII (I9100GSMH model) and in there I it was not roaming in either 3G or 2G, then I tried the same sim in an HTC Desire and no roaming in 2G or 3G. This issue only appears using the NEO N003 or the UMI X2 (havent tried any other MTK6589 phones).
My operator is Halebop (Svenska UMTS-Nät AB) PLMN 24005, my operator is owned by TeliaSonera Sverige AB, PLMN 24001. My home PLMN is 24005 but when I connect to either of them (24005 or 24001) I should NOT be roaming.
24001 = 2G
24005 = 3G
For me it seems that the phones are seeing plmn 24001 as my home plmn but not plmn 24005. Can I add the plmn 24005 to my home plmn list using ADB or any other tool?
