Does anyone know how how to get a better fixed position on the GPS on Firefly?
I tried a tutorial in the forum, and it didnt work.

Im in the UK, and the phone works BRILLIANTLY apart from that! Sad

I’m using No.1 P7, and I installed third party software, Navitel is the fastest and best for locking satellite, Navitel is so aggressived searching and locking satellite.

I think there is a simpler way. I too am in the UK and I had this problem on my hy5001. Basically the gps antenna is not activated. You just double tab on the gps tab in the options screen and from there make sure everything is switched on. Should be fine from there.

Where is the GPS tab? I have System Settings/Location Access and everything there is checked and enabled. I do get a GPS signal, but while trying to actually drive with it, it just stays at my "start point" and displays POOR GPS. I use Navfree which worked brilliantly on my Galaxy Note. :/

Still no luck with this guys. Sad
