[Question] TWRP CWM Nandroid on PD10LT8D

I was playing around with my chinese "monster" phone, and would like to have TWRP/NANDROID/Clockwork Recovery on it.

During umkbootimage I found that initramfs.cpio.gz has 512 bytes before the the start of the real gzip (magic number)

I have no idea why this is, or what the first 8 bytes are (jump?)

!!! --> I had to get the recovery with "dd" since it is part of the "rom" (mmcblk0), nanddump gives an error "MEMGETINFO: Invalid argument"

BTW, I do not have a Windows machine, and can't seem to find flash-tools that work under Linux, so, risk doing it under android itself?[/font]

Finally gave up, no such thing under Linux... which is kind of weird since it's based on it (well the kernel anyway) and booted the pc I bought a while ago for (2nd hand with XP) just for these kind of cases...
Now... I've got everything setup and took my backups.

Anyone any idea on where to find a "BoardConfig.mk" for a device? Can it be generated?
