Renaming to zip doesn't work u need to add meta inf file and change some stuff.
There is no way on Android to do it. Just place everything in one folder ? and use restore in TRWP recovery.

First boot takes long due dalvik cache.

The official version 2.6 has been installed. I tried to install D6000 Custom rom 2.6 base. I unzipped the file D6000_2015-12-02--04-10-37_V2.6.zip and copied the folder 2015-12-02---04-10-37_v2.6 to "external_sd/TWRP/BACKUPS/Innos_D6000/". Then I wiped everything except internal & external sd and flash through restore in TWRP. But I get the error - FAILED Restore complete:
E:extractTarFork() process ended with ERROR=255
What am I doing wrong?

Redownload all files ? and retry.

Could be corrupt file.
