[ROM] Oukitel U20 Plus - TWRP and Roms

OUKITEL U20 PLUS - NEW TWRP 3.0.3

Based on the next stock firmware :
ro.build.display.id=V162TA.OQ.OUKITEL.U20.HB.FHD.SSXSJS5.1210.V3.03

WARNING :
I am not sure that this TWRP 3.0.3 works well.
I am just waiting for someone to confirm that.
If someone has the Oukitel U20 Plus, please tell me if this twrp works.

TWRP INSTALLATION STEPS :

a) Tap on "Settings" -->"About phone" --> "Build number".
b) Tap 7 times on "Build number".
c) Tap on "Developer option" and enable "OEM unlocking" and "USB debugging".
d) Download the latest version (5.1648.00) of SP Flash Tool :

e) Download the NEW TWRP 3.0.3 at the next link :

f) Turn off the phone.
g) Open SP Flash Tool, load the scatter file and click on Download.
h) Connect your phone to your pc with USB to start the flash process.
i) When it finished, press "volume up" and "power" buttons simultaneously.
j) Select the first white line with volume up.
k) Press volume down to confirm.
l) Enjoy.

As mentioned before the touche doesn't work !
Can you remove the first screen ? the one with the “Never show this screen on boot again” message ?? as i read in another forum, jimmini said after that screen the touch is working ( he thinks that we could bypass it using a mouse, unfortunately u20+ doesn't have OTG )

As mentioned before the touche doesn't work !
Can you remove the first screen ? the one with the “Never show this screen on boot again” message ?? as i read in another forum, jimmini said after that screen the touch is working ( he thinks that we could bypass it using a mouse, unfortunately u20+ doesn't have OTG )

i have the same problem .. The oukitel don't have OTG i have buy otg cabke but don't work.. well waiting for a twrp Fix

i have the same problem .. The oukitel don't have OTG i have buy otg cabke but don't work.. well waiting for a twrp Fix

Cleo Have a solution for that, My U20 Plus is rooted using her TWRP
Just wait till she update the thread with the new tutorial

UPDATE ON THE STATE OF PLAY :

@lucifuru found a way to run the touchscreen of the TWRP.

Now the TWRP 3.0.3 works



Let me warn you that it is a clumsy method !


PLEASE FOLLOW VERY CAREFULLY THE NEXT STEPS


STEPS TO DO ONCE ONLY :

1) Install (click always YES) "adb-setup-1.4.2.exe" from the next links :

2) Connect your phone to your pc with USB cable.
3) Open CMD (command prompt).
4) Type the next command :

adb reboot bootloader (and press enter)

5) Type the next command :

fastboot getvar all (and press enter)

6) You should see "bootloader unlocked : no"

7) Now type the next command :

fastboot oem unlock (and press enter)

8) Press volume up (into your phone) to confirm to unlock the bootloader.
9) You will see in the CMD prompt the next messages :

"Start unlock flow", and when it will be finished, you will see "OKAY".

10) Now type the next command :

fastboot getvar all (and press enter)

11) Now you should see "bootloader unlocked : yes"


STEPS TO DO EVERY TIME YOU NEED TWRP RECOVERY :

1) Copy the recovery.img (inside rar) in the first post.
2) Paste the recovery.img inside C:\adb (the folder called "adb")
3) Disable OEM unlocking (Developer options).
4) Connect your phone to your pc with USB cable.
5) Open CMD (command prompt).
6) Type the next command :

adb reboot bootloader (and press enter)

7) Type the next command :

fastboot boot c:\adb\recovery.img (and press enter)

8) Enjoy.
