inew v3 power button problem

Hello,
I have problems with power button. I can´t switch off the display or start the phone with the power button. It is working only rarely. Is there anyone who can help me with it? (sorry for my bad english)

I don´t know exactly if it is HW or SW problem because the button looks normal, it clicks but sometimes it works (for few secons or minutes) then not. When I push the button, nothing happend. When I connect the phone to computer, display lights up, phone works, but after when the display is off I can´t turn it on. Also when the phone is off I can´t turn it on. Only when I keep pushing the button several times. (a lot of times)

These are what you can do----

1. Push the power button a few times a little harder. If there's any dust inside this might remove them.
2. Give a few lovely slaps on the power button to wake it up.
3. Do a FACTORY RESET.
4. If 1,2 & 3 doesn't work, then Flash the latest ROM. If you are already using the latest one, re-flash it.

If no option works for you then it's probably a Hardware problem.

Temporarily you can set the volume buttons to unlock the phone from gravity box.

I tested all the mentioned points but nothing helped. I can´t tell you when it works and when don´t. I flashed older ROM and it seemed that it starts to work but in a few minutes it stopped. Then I flashed newest ROM and it worked only once, than nothing. I pressed the button really hardly but nothing happend. I don´t want to destroy it. I try also factory reset from settings but it didn´t help.

i have a S7589, my power button does not work also.

so , i tried not to off the phone as i can.( i did not use the phone quite sometime, the screen cracked)
if i had to off the phone, then i when i wanted to power it on, i had to have the phone plugged in the computer or charging unit. what i did was
pressed n hold the "volume down" then pluggged the phone to charging unit or computer, then the phone will boot to factory mode, then i used "volume button" to scroll to "reboot", and use physical home button to execute the reboot.

But Inew V3, does not have a physical home button. anyway u can try my method to see if it work. or try to hold volume up button, if u can go to touch recovery mode, if u do then , u can reboot the phone.

When the phone is screen off, then try to set volume button to wake up yr phone in gravity box.
