Kann i root my goopad mini 7inch 3g plus (mt8389) with Tools for mt6589.
I think the specifikation of the CPU is the same,but the frequenz from the CPU ist
higher. mt 6577 build in Nov2012 1Ghz <
mt 8389 build in may2013 1,2Ghz and mt8125 1,5Ghz.

I have brought a mtk8389 tablet and I have rooted it with the application framaroot. First of all you have to update your applications.
I have no problem rooting it..

Mi Ainol Novo AX1, with the same cpu, rooted instantly with vroot, just be sure to have the correct drivers installed. ADB should be working.
