please see this sub forum for auto root tools [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]. I would suggest trying framaroot first if you are on JellyBean, and iroot first if you are on KitKat. Try them all until you find one that works for you.
If none of them work, install CWM then root from recovery.
Follow this tutorial to install CWM unrooted [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]
Download and unrar the file from here [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]
Place the zip file (not rar) in the root of your SD card.
Install it through CWM.
