I hope i can get some help with this issue i spent DAYS trying to figure out this issue out

so i have a Pomp W8 MTK6589 dual sim phone.

I did a factory restore one day and now i am getting a really weird issue. i get a message that says simcard Not detected when i put a valid sim card in the phone. YET if i but a sim card in the phone that is not activated. i reads the Sim card and the contacts but it says no service. yet if you put the vaild sim in "Sim Card not detected" in both slots on the phone.

When you dial 112 it does work.

What i tried so far:
-2 Roms and currently have Stock Rom POMP-W89_V3.06_20130709
-CWR Installed
-When you turn on the phone it says "No Sim Card Detected" When you place a valid Sim in the Phone
-The phone does detect Inactive Sim even asks to pick the appropriate Carrier and reads sim contacts

What i know:
-i dont have a NVRAM BACKUP (I did make one but my Harddrive Died)
-I did a Whole Flash Wipe and restored the Stock Rom Get invalid Sim restore Sims using MTK Engineering mode
-ALL OTHER Functions work great on the phone just not the Cellular modem to make any calls besides emergency.

Hello Thank you for your reply,

when i go to: Go system > about phone > status > IMEI info

This is what i get

IMEI(Slot1)
355006085287XX

IMEI SV(Slot1)
78

IMEI(Slot2)
35850060852871XX

IMEI SV(Slot2)
78

I just put the X's at the end to protect my IMEI but it is there.

I tried both links still not working.... Any ideas?

I will pay for someones NVRAM Backup if anyone has a NVRAm Backup of my phone...

When i go to MTK Engineering mode this is what it says when my simcard is in it says:

IMEI:355006085287XX
IMSI:Unknown
Radio State:Radio Off
Sim State:Absent
phonenumber:unknown
current network:
Signal Strength:0 dBm 99 asu

PLEASE HELP Sad
Have you considered the possibility that you have a bad SIM card? Can you try another one for troubleshooting purposes? If that's the case, it's a cheap and easy fix.

Hello I tried those 2 links with no luck.

when i go to Go system > about phone > status > IMEI info

it has my 2 IMEI's there with

IMEI SV 78 under them each

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My serial number is 012345678ABCDEF
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The second link with the serial number did not work when i ran the command

i already did the IMEI check using the AT command still not working,

Do you think i need the NVRam from a Pomp W89 or a Flying F600 to fix this?

Will it fix it? I will pay for it if needed.

When i run Mobile Uncle and get to MTK Tools and radio information this is what it says.

With a Working Sim it gives me this with it in the SIm Slot:

IMEI:3550060852871XX (Hiding last 2 Digits)
IMSI:Unknown
Radio State:absent
Phone Number: Unknown
Current Network:
Signal Strength 0 DBm 99Sum

Do you think i need a NVRAM Backup to fix this? if so is there anywhere or anyone i can buy it from?

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Hello Thank you for your input,

I have tried 7 Different Sims Some active some inactive.

The inactive sims actually are recognized but they are inactive so they cant make calls all they do is ask to select a network...

But active Sims tested with other phones show up as Sim Card not detected...

I have tried 4 Roms and 2 Modem Firmwares... NO Luck Sad

any other ideas? does anyone have a NVRam for this phone Sad

please anyone help Sad ???
Get this I had to use this it fix my IMEI in the lollipop rom I made . but it works in all roms MTK

Open a command prompt
---------------------
-Press windows key + R
-In the run box type in cmd
-press enter
-A black window will appear with writing

-Enter the following text:
imei.exe <15digit_IMEI_1> <15digit_IMEI_2>

(eg: imei.exe 123456789111111 123456789111111)

Press Enter

If both IMEI you gave are in correct format the file named MP0B_001_NEW will
be created. Now you can put it on the sd and insert that in to the phone.

Run root explorer
Copy it to - system need r/w need to be on:
/data/nvram/md/NVRAM/NVD_IMEI/MP0B_001

rename it this MP0B_001
