So I want to port a rom from one mk6572 to mk6572. It needs files from /system/lib/modules but nothing is there. and also the vold files in /system/etc/ but those arent there either. Where do I find these files? I have an alps mpie mp-s168. I'm lost. the custom ROM I found is cm11 based but it won't work at all. I need help!!
As far as i know, those files can be pulled from the boot.img or so. Im just not sure. i have a cm11 rom i want to port but really need the help on this as im new to all this. Please help if someone can. i do not have a linux based computer to do this easier, and my system i DO have is only 60GB so i cant VM to get it done. if i post the boot.img can someone get that done for me/us here at chinaphonearena?
Ok so obviously i have found a way to get things done, so i dont think this thread is needed any longer. :p
