Hello
After porting a rom I always get a No Baseband/No Sim detected/No IMEI problem. But I have already mentioned that in a previous post.
Returning back to stock fixes the problem but I am still curious as to why this is happening as the rest of the functions within the rom are worked great.
So far the only conclusion I am getting is that the modem/radio is not being installed/configured properly (reason for this conclusion is that in engineering mode I cannot enter the CDI information section, it's greyed out)
I tried comparing the init.modem.rc in the boot.img and even porting it over, also checked meta_init.modem.rc but both files didn't change much.
So Question is anyone have any other ideas where to look at?
Some phone specs:
Model: KingZone N3
Chipset: MT6582 (MTK)
Rom: MIUI v6 port originating from SPICE MI 509
