So I was messing around with my Lenovo K3 Note and suddenly im getting INVALID IMEI error. I have tried using imei sn writer but sadly it doesnt support mtk6752. Please help.![[Image: FTSkFPV]](http://imgur.com/FTSkFPV)

I suggest you to install "Mobileuncle MTK Tools" apk.
Tap Engineer Mode ... tap Engineer Mode (MTK) ... tap Connectivity ... tap CDS Information ... tap Radio Information ... tap Phone ... and in line AT +EGMR=1,7,"IMEI_1" (replace IMEI_1 with the imei written on the back of your device) ... YOU MUST ENTER SPACE BETWEEN AT and +, so not AT+EG but AT +EG ... tap on SEND AT COMMAND ... quit Mobileuncle and reboot your device.

Easy and fast solution for EMEI invalid.
1- You should have your cel rooted. Next install Busybox from google store.
2 - Open MKdroidTools
3 - Connect your cel in normal mode
4 - After few secs, Mkdroidtools display phone info. In the last info say: IMEI INVALID
5 - press "ROOT" button on MKDroidTools to access temporaly root.
6 - press REPLACE IMEI button on MKdroidtools, enter IMEI CODE . If you dont know this code, you can see it the back of the phone (you need to remove battery to see the IMEI code)
7 - after enter IMEI CODE (or codes in dual sim) , restart the phone and voila!!!
PROBED WITH MT6582 with NVRAM CORRUPT.

Unfortunately MTK Droid Tools doesn't works with MT6752 ... last 2.5.3 version too.
Lately I have found a "super easy" solution to solve invalid/lost imei issue.
It is an apk called "Cryptotel Chamelephon" ... you can find it at the next link :

Chamelephon worked well for me and my new K3 Note now has 2 Sims working and good signal strength, Thanks to Cleopatra!!

If you got command not valid, then you forgot the space after AT.
If chamelephone isn't working, you probably need NVRAM restore.
