Pretty cool. Steel structures...it would be nice if they used the heat for additional power storage. Concentrate the heat to boil water or oil, store the steam and release it later on to drive a turbine coupled to a generator motor or some such.

Anyway, Sounds really amazing and they look like some weird alien structure, (very Falling Skies) very nice.

Cool. But the first thing I became curious about is "how much juice is it taking to keep them lit up like that?"

Yeah, they're huge structures..but lighting loads don't demand alot, right? idunno
