Hi all,
Been looking around at chinese androids constantly and finding it hard to choose a phone.
My requirements are 4G, good battery, octocore, good 13mp camera & has both led notification & backlit menu buttons at bottom (having trouble finding one that has both).

cheers
Nigs
Hey @Niggles !

Do you know what bands your area/provider needs for 4G ?
Where are you going to be using the phone?
The elephone p6000 has a home button which is a back lit circle that also is a notification led.
What it lacks is a good camera(only average).
I like the look of DOOGEE Y100 Pro good phone for the money

Xiaomi redmi note 2 or Meizu m2 note. I prefer the first one for the performance and the second for the design.

Without this, you are stuck at square one.

Actually, it would be VERY VERY useful to see a simple filter of all reviews/devices using frequencies.

Everyone selects devices from those that will function in their respective locations or with their providers. After this, screen size, cpu, ram, rom, resolution, os, accessories, etc. come into play.

If the end user cannot access the internet or make a phone call, then you can bet the device will never be the right one... no matter how awesome the price or the specs.

Id have to agree. Xiaomi is being very aggressive in the market place.
A not so popular option would be to go for one of their older models. If you get their latest, when a new phone comes out, youll be disappointed and on the hunt again. Go for last years models (itll be easier to root it too).
You should take a look at the Elephone P8000. Its only 169USD and they offer a US version as well. This maybe something you would like.
