I rooted my Teca t806s tablet, MT6735 running lollipop 5.1, without a computer using latest kingroot (or was it kingoroot don't remember) if one doesn't work try the other. It failed first time then rooted on 2nd try.

I have rooted my Intex Aqua Ace phone with mt 6735 and lollipop with the latest Kingroot app from XDA Developers - Thanks to XDA for their work. You can go and have try.
