no not three all together . first try vol-up plus power, if it dosen't work then vol-down plus power down.

VolDown is Meta-mode
VolUp is Factory-mode

On my copy, to enter recovery, you must press all three. This is the same as other owners have reported as well.

You bring up an interesting point though. There are a few different ROMs, so it's possibly different on other ROMs. I'm currently on the CN 5.1 dev build.
