When it come to Chinese smartphone manufacturers, ZTE are one of the better known companies. This is largely in part to the quality of the devices they offer. In particular, their Nubia range of smartphones has been receiving good praise for a long time now. Last year, the company announced their latest devices to join the Nubia family, the ZTE Nubia Z7, alongside the Nubia Z7 Mini and Max variants. However, the Nubia Z7 was the main
flagship device and with good reason, as the specs on offer stacked up against most of the other flagships available at the time.
In terms of those specs, the ZTE Nubia Z7 comes sporting a 5.5-inch display with a Quad HD (2560 x 1440) resolution. On the inside, the Nubia Z7 comes equipped with 3GB RAM and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Quad-core processor (clocking at 2.5 GHz), along with an Adreno 330 processing the graphics. Moving to the camera side of things and the Nubia Z7 comes equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera, which is coupled with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. While, in terms of storage, the Nubia Z7 comes as standard with 32GB internal storage and also offers the option to expand, thanks to the inclusion of a microSD card slot. Additional features on offer include the usual bunch of sensors, Bluetooth 4.0, dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, a 3,100mAh battery and the device comes running on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) with the Nubia UI over the top.
In terms of networks, the Nubia Z7 is compatible with 2G (GSM) 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, 3G (WCDMA) 850/1900/2100 MHz and 4G (FDD-LTE) 1800/2100/2600 MHz.
