then i did some stupid things and now i need the rom. i'm not an experienced user and ive been looking for a solution/the right rom for about 4 days now and now i really don't know what to do anymore.
has anyone got an idea which is the right rom?

thx

try the following, see if there is any rom for you

[Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]

or look like yours are LTE, if u can't find it, then u just have to wait for sometime for someone to upload the rom
or get the rom from fastcardtech
thx 4 reply.

ive been to needroom, but my phone isnt listed there. fct redirected me to talkingmobi, but there it is not listed either.

due to a lack of experience i dont dare to install roms randomly... seems like i just got to wait and hope.

if you find something, please post up. i'll do the same. my phone is worthless as is. the battery drains very quickly, won't go into deep sleep. even with the power off, it drains. i've tried a few cpu monitor apps...and the cpu seems to be running at full speed at all times, and setcpu does not appear to effect a change when i set a lower speed cpu profile.

when i have time, i'm planning to go through the guides here and learn how to craft a custom recovery.....so i can flash a different rom if i ever find one.

btw....the fasttech s4 lte is NOT as advertised. it was supposed to be 2gb of ram...not so.
so you got the same phone? is there somehow the possibility you somehow create a backup of your system and upload it?

yes, i think i have the same phone.

if someone could teach me how to do what you ask, i'd be glad to give it a try.

my phone is rooted, and that is all i know how to do. i am entering a busy work schedule and am in the process of moving to a new apartment, so the time i have available to play around with this thing is virtually nil. but i'll be glad to help if i can.
so where are the professionals? Big Grin

-Install MTK Droid Tools on your PC (use Search to find a link);
- install correct drivers for your phone (use Search to find 'em)
- connect your phone to your PC, before that make sure in Settings/Developer Options USB debugging box is checked;
- Wait until MTK Droid Tools recognizes your Phone;
- click on "root, backup' recovery" tab;
- click on big Backup button;
- wait until it is done, answer "no" to the question whether to zip the file;
- click on "to prepare blocks for Flash tool" button;
- wait until it is done.
- when it is done, there will be a folder "!Files_to_FlashTool" which will have all the images necessary. Now you have the full image of your system.
If you ever brick your phone, it can be used to unbrick it.
- Upload this folder somewhere,

Profit!Big Grin
thanks for the instructions.
fresh p....as i said i won't have any time to play around with this....perhaps on monday or tuesday i might have an hour to spare. i'll try for you my friend, but in the meantime if anyone else can help you, you should jump on it and not wait on me. i'm new to this stuff and am not confident that i can do it.

Anyone with at least half of the brain working should be able to do it. Big Grin

You live, you learn.

It takes time, yes.

But that is time better spent than watching stupid TV.

IMHO of course.
