Cutting the Cord: My 5 Biggest Fears
My world may change October 24. That’s the day all of my year-long AT&T U-verse discounts expire. It’s also the day the company will jack up my service rates -- as it's done every year since we welcomed it into our house. Oh sure, I will dance the dance, threatening to leave unless my monthly rates stay low. I'll surely mention the attractive offers Time Warner Cable has been packing my mailbox with. But ultimately, I’m leaning toward taking the path so many people are going these days: Cutting the cord. And I have a plan.
