hello
this is my first thread in the community so help me god Smiling

after 2 months of having elephone p7000 ( my WORST mistake of my life ) i realized i want to buy another " FLAGSHIP " for a Budget .
so here is my thoughts on the reviews I've seen until now .
i had many troubles with p7000 :
1 - support and updates are a JOKE ( every ota makes the phone even worse )
2 - battery is a nightmare ( due to the updates keeps getting worse )
3 - speaker quality is so bad makes you cry
4 - there are several white dots on the screen which can't be fixed
5 - i cant connect it to any pc ( cant recognized i don't what the hell is the problem
6 - phone heats up while calling
7 - hangs and lags and . . . . . . . . ! Sad(((
what ever i wont get anything from that crappy company
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
and now :
here are the specs I'm interested in :
a Decent hardware ( prefer octa core 64bit mediatek 6752 or higher )
a battery life good enough to juice the phone during the day ( i don't play games at all and not much heavy apps either so i think I'm not a heavy user )
a very good camera ( at this point Ive seen p7000 imx 214 sony and it's EWWWW ! )
enough ram ( 2GB or higher )
corning gorilla glass 3 full hd (doesn't matter 5.5 or 5 )
good speakers
other specs like 4G and NFC etc. . . are appereciated .
so here were my options :
i saw Ulephone be touch 2 BUT , in some topics i read that it's battery was a fake ( they had sent 2550 MAH battery instead SONY 3**? the original )
so i guessed ELEPHONE - ULEPHONE there MUST be some connections ! . that rolled out .
i saw JiaYu S3 and i was surprised by the reviews i've read BUT there are several people who are saying it takes to long to charge the battery .
IUNI U2 was another good phone but it's snapdragon 800 seemd a little old .
ecoo E04 Aurora on the other hand was one of my first options when i was going to buy a Chinese phone ( i wish i had it instead of p7000 ) but i've heard and read many times that i'ts speakers and camera is disappointing .
Umi Iron was/IS one of my options but in some reviews Ive read that the camera and the battery are not good enough .
i ocean M6752 was also good but i don't remember why i crossed it too Smiling)
BUT recently i came across the Innos d6000 and i must say I'm very impressed with the specs . and the reason I'm doubtful is of it's Soc . i don't know much about snapdragon 615 . I'm worried that if the performance is not good enough to replace old p7000 , HOWEVER like i said I'm not a power user i just use ordinary apps like Instagram or chat and etc . . . BUT i do like Photographing by smartphone .
PLEASE people inform me by your own experiences with this phones . put yourself in my shoes .
thank you all
FARHAD
If you're unhappy with IMX214, you're unlikely to be happy with any camera. In good light, images are as good as from standalone cameras.

The Innos d6000 camera is good, hardware failure for a few users. The Snapdragon 615 is good. Not super powerful, but should do everything you need.

Ulefone Be Touch 2 did not get a good review from Gizbeat.

I would consider Xiaomi Mi series.
I will second the Xiaomi Mi series. Good turn-key solid experience, great build reputation and support - it's tough to go wrong with the Mi series.

I'm also a fan and owner of multiple THL devices and have never been disappointed with reliability or build quality for the price point.

Which frequencies do you require, out of curiousity?

It would seem another frustrated Elephone user has been created... I personally crossed that company off the list ages ago. Regardless, thank you very much for your thoughts and mini-review about that device. If you decide on something, please keep us up to date and tell us what you think of your purchase!

I would go for the XIAOMI mi4c. It looks like a great phone from a good company.
Just buy a new nexus. The base 5x is cheap and light years better than the mediatek phones.

I own htc m8 and a mtk phone some of us just like mtk phones as I love the full on octa core
Though it's not exactly a Chinese phone you can't beat the specs, performance and value of the Asus Zenfone 2. I've had the 4GB version for 6 months and as most regular contributors on here know that's a record for me! I just haven't seen anything worthwhile to replace it as my daily driver. I like it so much I bought the 2GB version for my teenage son.
