I've noticed in GSAM Innos D6000 being held awake by kernel (kernel wakelock). Anybody else having this issue and what ROM are you on? I'm on v2.5, rooted and gapps installed.
ill test my d6000 with gsam, but its only on wifi usage, no 3g or sim card in it yet, im still on v1.1, shall let you know.

anyways, if you have root, cant you use xposed modules /apps or something and change the wake lock settings?
That's okay if just WiFi. That should not make a difference for kernel wakelock.

Yes, with some xposed module can prevent kernel processes from gaining wakelocks. But it can be difficult to track exactly which process and app. I will move on to that attempted solution at some point. Now I'm just trying to find if it's just me.
hey megamanx, seems I can't see wakelock stats on the free version of gsam? still want my wifi only stats?
The free version allows what I'm wondering about. Just look at the "Held awake" line... It's actually gotten much better recently, but still being held awake a couple of hours out of every day.
can we upload images on here? cant see the upload button.. anyways here are my stats.
some web browsing, small torrenting, no phone just wifi and bluetooth. wake times look quite high but battery life is good.

on my previous batt cycle, i think i downloaded 20gb or more with heaps of wake time. but this cycle didnt use torrent as much so not sure what the big wake times are from...
Yes can add a pic. Use add attachment, or click the little picture button to insert a pic (or enclose in [img tags). But can't insert attachment in quick reply. Can just enclose in img tags.

The kernel wakelock is keeping you awake. That's really bad. Same as with me. But for me it stopped by itself. At least not nearly as bad as before (3 hours or so over 50 hours). Have you rebooted the phone recently? That can often put a stop to it.

Here is my recent result. My best one yet, but I find it difficult to drain them because it takes so many days of use Big Grin.

Also, though It's not possible to get an accurate voltage reading because of dual battery setup, it looks like the external is being drained too far (dropping extremely fast from 8% down). I will pull it out at 10%.

Voltage for internal bounced around all over the place at the bottom end, but this is similar. I think should put on the charger at around 10% or turn off to avoid internal battery damage. A few times here and there isn't really a problem, but if draining extremely many times, it will noticeably hurt battery strength over time.
2 days for me and still battery left to play so im not to worried yet. whats priority to me now is wireless charging or something to make it easy to charge it.

these magnetic charge adapters are awesome but only micro usb plugs at this stage, wont be type c for awhile.

not sure how bad it would be if i stuck on a generic qi charge receiver on the external battery terminals, it would probably only charge the external battery but maybe some how screw up the phones detection of the battery also?? wont try till maybe 6 months later :p
Can use an adapter, no? I PC flashed mine with a standard cable and this adapter
