Hi Will,
I'm supposed to be receiving a smart case for the N003 from the chinese vendor I bought the handset - as soon as I receive it I will post the details.
Incidentally, the NEO N003 handset I received does not seem have a WCDMA mode that works with the UK providers - I was just wondering what your experience with it has been? I am currently thinking of returning it since on top of the broadband problem I find the headset port output is too low.

The Neo N003 has 2100MHz only from what I understand. I believe all UK providers broadcast 3G on 2100MHz, but it might be worth checking to be sure.
It's also possible WCDMA is set to the wrong SIM slot. Try the SIM in the other slot, or switch the WCDMA SIM via settings.
You can adjust your headset volume through engineering mode.
Also make sure you're on the newest Neo N003 firmware.
