Hi,

I am hesitating between those 2 phones. At first the price and features seems to be the same.

The performance of the MI4c seems to be a bit better, but the camera of the Z9 is maybe better.
I like the design of the Z9 (glass) but maybe the shape of the MI4c will be better.

Do you have experience with those phones? Which one should I buy, which one should be better?

FYI, to give you an idea, I now have a Nexus 5 and my gf owns a One Plus X but I find it a bit too heavy and too expensive.

I'm doing an in-depth comparison and review with OnePlus X vs Xiaomi Mi4c. The first battery tests do not bode well for the Xiaomi. Truly amazing results from the OnePlus X with the smaller battery. That video and text will be up shortly.
Thank you for your reply, but as you can see, I am not trying to compare it to the one plus X.

What do you think of Xiaomi Mi4c vs ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini ?
I was mentioning the OnePlus X simply because they're in the same price bracket, and so far, it's proved to be a better phone than Mi4c. The main downers with Mi4c is that there's no global ROM yet, so will need to flash the full ROM and gapps each time you update. Not a big deal but worth mentioning. The other is the lack of SD. However if those things don't bother you, I found it to be otherwise very good.

I haven't tested the Nubia Z9 Mini, but ZTE makes solid phones, I don't think you'll be disappointed, but I will mention that SD615 struggles to push 1080P smoothly with Android System screen transitions and animations, at least in the phones I've tested so far with this SoC (Innos D6000 and Xiaomi Mi4i). The SoC in Mi4c is much more powerful. But, SD615 isn't so bad; I've chosen Innos D6000 as my main mobile and since turning off animations in Dev options, it's been great.
That doesn't make the choice easier Smiling

16gb is not enough, 32gb will be not enough in the future and an SD is a nice to have.
Something the Z9 has and the Mi4 doesn't.
