Hey,
I have a problem. I buyed P8000 from everbuying.net: [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register] .
It is specified that works on 2600MHz. Initially, when I was in places with this frecvency available (band 38, 2600MHz), it worked. Today it doesn't. I don't know what happened, maybe after I installed the rom update the band 38 (2600MHz) it's not available anymore.

In engineering mode band 38 is inactive. I think I did at least two updates since I buyed it, I don't remember exactly. I am from Romania, last year I went to Bucharest and I remember I activated 4G from my network provider, wich has licence on band 38 (2600MHz). Meanwhile, I did some OTA updates. This year my network provider activated 4G in the city where I'm living, but I don't have 4G anymore on the phone.
The phone isn't rooted.

Maybe try to flash an older full ROM.
