Just wondering if your i6000 has built in compass working.
My one (2 gb ram version) does not have it working.
Nope. Tried 2 compass apps. No go.

It seems odd. My seller said it does have compass.
There is no compass in i6000.

Оne more time: there is NO hardware for compass in i6000. Has nothing to do w/ROM.
My seller false advertised this phone has compass. It is particularly not important. But will be useful when you use gps for navigation.

Your seller can tell you many things.
There is NO HARDWARE in i6000 for the compass.
GPS is better than compass, I don't remember when was the last time I used the compass, normal gps app will have the all the attributes of the compass.
