I think it may be rom-specific. All I can tell you is power + vol down takes a screen shot on my i6000.
If no button combinations work to take a screen shot for you, you probably have to get a screen shot app.

I have h7500+/ZP800H. It's voldown+power unless you're on some funky firmware as bertmansk already mentioned.

sorry i dont know whats my firmware, its a h7500+ I bought it in pandawill and it came with android 4.2.1 btw i cant instal cwm, it says its ok but when i reboot to cwm nothing happens, i only found threads for android 4.1, sorry for my english :p thxx in advance
