I6000 Stock rom currently does not has an enhanced DPS manager.
I found this one in xda forum. Installed it and music vastly improved.

Instruction:
1. Boot to CMW recovery
2. Run Awesome Beats .zip file
3. Choose the first option for stock rom...
4. wait for installation done and reboot your phone.
