I just got the Blckview BV5000 and it won't connect to Koodo network.
It won't connect to the gsm network or 3G/LTE network? If it's 3G or H+ it doesn't have 850 or 1900 that Telus use. It also doesn't have the required lte frequencies.

This is right from their site:

Network Frequency
2G:GSM/900/1800/850/1900MHz
3G:WCDMA900/1900/2100MHz
4G:LTE800/900/1800/2100/2800MHz

Their frequency specs are false. There's no 1900 wcdma on this phone. Search for my thread on here.

Your device will never work on that frequency.

You MUST contact Gearbest immediately. They are a sponsor on this site, so I am sure all of us would be interested on what they will do about this.

I just check Gearbest myself and you are 100% correct. The frequencies are listed incorrectly. Lets see if they own this mistake. It has only been a few days, but time is not on your side.

Please follow-up here as to their response, if any.

It's not Gearbest's fault. Blackview misstated the frequencies on their site.

Ahhhh! I did not know that. Thanks for the heads up.

Then I'm sure if the user follows up quickly, he/she can take advantage of Gearbest's 45 day money back guarantee.

Hopefully, things will go smoothly and "Flip" will come back and update us on progress.
