I have wanted it for a long time ... then a miracle occurs Heart

BE CAREFUL : this thread is ONLY for Ecoo E04 MT6752 VIBE porting & Lenovo K3 Note original !
There are many other devices compatible with this tool. You will can download the list of all compatible devices at the next link (please open it with Notepad ++) :

[Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]

You will be able to switch which rom your device will have to start. That is the situation under original Lenovo K3 Note :

And that is the situation under Ecoo E04 MT6752 VIBE Lenovo K3 Note porting :

Unfortunately (under the Ecoo E04) the only compatible rom (on Needrom) is the "CyanogenMod 5.1.1" by Hacker.sss.

BE CAREFUL : this tool will works ONLY if you have installed on your device the "ECOO E04 Plus-VIBE Lenovo K3 Note porting" rom.

FOLLOW CAREFULLY THE NEXT STEPS
ABOVE ALL download and install "ECOO E04 Plus-VIBE Lenovo K3 Note porting". You will find all the steps at the next link :

[Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]

THEN download the MULTI.rar at the next link :

[Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]

It contains the "DualBootPatcherAndroid-8.0.0.r2437.gb1f9a00-snapshot.apk" and the "DualBootPatcher-8.0.0.r2437.gb1f9a00-win32.zip".
Unzip "DualBootPatcher-8.0.0.r2437.gb1f9a00-win32.zip" into your desktop. Copy the "CM12.1+ACIP+for+Ecoo+E04.zip" and paste it inside the "DualBootPatcher-8.0.0.r2437.gb1f9a00-win3" folder. Please see the next screenshot :

Click on "DualBootPatcher.exe". Please see the next screenshot :

Now you have to choose where to install the rom. The Dual Boot Patcher (now Multiboot) has the next locations :

1)Primary: normally used for installing a zip to the primary ROM (no good).
2)Secondary: it is the first multiboot installation location (no good).
3)Multi-slots: multi-slot-1, multi-slot-2, multi-slot-3. They install the rom to the cache partition (no good).
4)Data-slots: the rom wil be installed on the data partition (good).
5)Extsd-slot: the rom wil be installed on your external SD (VERY GOOD).

I suggest you to choose Extsd-slot. Please see the next screenshot :

Click on "Choose file" and select the "CM12.1.zip" inside "DualBootPatcher" folder. Please see the next screenshot :

Then click on "Start patching". Please see the next screenshot :

Be patient until "Successfully patched file" will appears. Please see the next screenshot :

NOW I suggest you to buy a good brand microSDHC Class 10 memory card (I have purchased a 128GB Class 10 memory card) and follow carefully the next thread :

[Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]

THEN copy the "CM12.1+ACIP+for+Ecoo+E04_extsd-slot-cyanogenmod.zip" and paste it into your external SD. Please see the next screenshot :

NOW install the "DualBootPatcherAndroid-8.0.0.r2437.gb1f9a00-snapshot.apk" on your device and tap on "ROMs". Please see the next screenshot :

Grant Superuser request. Please see the next screenshot :

Tap on "SET NOW". Please see the next screenshot :

Now you can see your primary rom. Please see the next screenshot :

Then tap on the 3 dot up right. BE CAREFUL : DO NOT TAP on "Update ramdisk". If you will tap on it your Ecoo E04 will go into bootloop ! ONLY in the original Lenovo K3 Note you will can tap on it. Please see the next screenshot :

THEN reboot your device into TWRP recovery and install the "CM12.1+ACIP+for+Ecoo+E04_extsd-slot-cyanogenmod.zip". Please see the next 2 screenshots :

[Image: 694ca8.jpg] [Image: t0kcgz.jpg]

When the installation process is over, reboot your device. Now you are into cyanogenmod. Please see the next screenshot :

NOW install also into cyanogenmod the "DualBootPatcherAndroid-8.0.0.r2437.gb1f9a00-snapshot.apk". Tap on "ROMs". Please see the next screenshot :

You will see this situation (do not tap "Update ramdisk"). Please see the next screenshot :

NOW THE MOST IMPORTANT THING

To flash the Xposed Framework zip (and any other flashable zip) for the roms installed into your external SD, you have to follow carefully the next steps:
1) Above all download the Xposed sdk22 arm64.zip & XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk at the next link :

[Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]

2) Tap "Patch Zip File". Please see the next screenshot :

3) Tap on the green square. Please see the next screenshot :

4) Tap on "SD card". Please see the next screenshot :

9) Now reboot into TWRP recovery and install it. When the installation is over, reboot your device. Install "XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk". Please see the next screenshot :

THen I´m worried now... Any tips on why it´s not working?
Please tell me more about your device.
Do you have installed "ECOO E04 Plus-VIBE Lenovo K3 Note porting" at first ? Do you have followed carefully all the steps that I have suggested on my tutorial ? Do you have downloaded the Cyano version that I have suggested on my tutorial ? I have never had difficulty to install the Cyano ... and actually I have the dual boot ... and I am happy about it.

I hope for you that you flashed (by twrp) the "CM12.1+ACIP+for+Ecoo+E04_extsd-slot-cyanogenmod.zip" ... not the normal "CM12.1.zip" (on Needrom). However, the dual boot works great on my Ecoo (the screenshots on my tutorial prove it). And I hope for you that you have made a backup by twrp Wink
