I just updated my ht7 pro with the wifi update and it has soft bricked it.
I can only get to fastboot nothing else.
Normal gives me the homtom screen and nowt else.
Recovery gives error.

So has anybody got a stock rom I can flash with?

Were you rooted when you did the update?

HomTom is owned by Doogee. Doogee is famous for their updates that brick phones.

Strange, I upgraded yesterday with no problem. Have I been lucky?
OTOH the stock rom comes with malware/adware and it seems the update still has it.

Yes I was rooted, and had removed the carp from it.
I wasn't aware that they were prone to bricking, as this is my first one from them.

So no one copied a rom from one of these? You can remove the sensitive bits, I just need to get it working again.
Homtom haven't replied to me.
